They make their own sandwiches - score!
(We have an actual table now, promise!)
One night when the kids were going to bed, Audrey threw her arms around Aaron's waist and declared she did not want him to go! No matter what we tried, she would not release him. So, I suggested they start thinking of all the fun things that they can do tomorrow. The ideas started flowing out of Aaron's mouth, all excitedly received by Audrey. Cars, princesses, dress ups... For today, the possibilities are endless. They both went to bed easily, dreaming of the adventures to be had. Remembering their promises, they both went upstairs playing cars and dress up the next morning - and I love it!
Babies are her favorite - and it's ridiculously adorable!
When we were working on moving in, Aaron saw me carrying bookshelves up the stairs. He said, "Mama, that would be a lot easier if you have Daddy help you. Maybe you should wait for Daddy to get home." -- story of my life.
He climbed the trellis ... he is now fully aware that this is not an activity that is condoned ... it is condemned! This monkey needs to stop freaking his mama out!
While Aaron was gone at cousin camp, the girls and I went on a super long shopping spree getting things for our new home. Clearly, they were tired at the end ...
We went out to lunch with Daddy while Aaron was at cousin camp.
We love surprising Daddy at work with treats ... this time the girls made him share... haha.
Playmags - they could play for hours ... and they are so creative!
We have a field next to our house and the kids love it.
I love when they all play together nicely!
So glad I had help painting my craftroom! Thanks Sister Hudson and Sister Berry! Cutest painting crew this side of the Mississippi!
