Remember these little guys?

Well, I was cleaning my house today putting away all of the Halloween decorations and I wondered if I could use these again. I started thinking and came up with... TURKEYS!

I needed the back to be strong enough so that when I gave my turkeys their "feathers" they wouldn't be top heavy. So rather than use felt or a colored piece of paper I used cardstock and hot-glued twine in a circular pattern. I then gave them feathers and giblets.

Since I don't have a mantle to decorate, I decorate my bookshelf instead.
