Happy Birthday Aaron!

Aaron is 2! I can hardly believe it! It is amazing how he has changed!!!
to now 26 pounds and 34 inches:
It is amazing how much he has learned and grown in the past 2 years!

He had his doctor's appointment earlier this week - I think they need to make the gowns close better ;)

Then he got to have 3 birthdays... well, more if you include all the gifts he opened one day at a time from GP. And all the gifts my mom got him when she was in town :)

His first party was on the 4th of July. It was his family party. We went with a How to Train Your Dragon theme. He has recently come to love that movie. Here he is imitating the movie:

He had the time of his life at the party! He got to play on the water slide, the trampoline, ride on the tractor with Grandpa, ride in a little car, play rock band and see the fireworks! (He LOVED the fireworks! He would chant, "more fireworks please" after each show.

I decided to go simple and just make cupcakes for this party - easier to dish for a bunch of people. It ended up working out great considering all Aaron wanted was the frosting. Haha

For his second party, we did Cars theme.

 Aaron enjoyed licking the beaters.
Here is the Lightning McQueen cake I made

Sitting in his tent waiting for guests to arrive. Thanks Gramma for the tent and blanket!

I only got one photo of him opening presents because he got a few Lightning McQueen cars and a few Mater cars so Eric and I were on car opening duty. But he had a blast opening gifts.

Then on Sunday he opened his gifts from us, chose to eat pizza for dinner on the couch, and got to just relax. He got lots of clothes, legos, and his quiet book. His favorite page from the book is the car page. He is great at unraveling the car and driving on the roads :)

Happy Birthday Little Man!!!
