So Strong!

Part of me is thinking, "Can't you just hold still for a while? Be content to just lay there...
Suck your thumb or something..."
The other part of me is totally loving to brag...

Audrey loves tummy time ... loves it. It seems similar to a teenage girl who climbs on her mom's bed to tell her all about the date she just came back from - chatty, full of smiles, and unable to hold still.

Audrey has rolled over before, but it was 3 weeks ago. It seemed to be more of a surprise to her than anything, but she has tried so hard to replicate it!
Here she is, chatting and smiling while trying to roll over.
Audrey scoots. Usually she progresses slowly - inch worm style... But every once in a while she really plants her feet well and then she shoots forward.
You can see she eventually gets frustrated ... lack of movement is my guess...

Lucky for me, she still loves to snuggle

Precoa Picnic

Today was the Precoa Picnic. I didn't take many pictures and while it was fun ... that isn't what I want to talk about. Instead, I want to (again) gush about how much I love this company that Eric and I are privileged to be a part of.

Today, Eric wasn't feeling well. There are plenty of companies that I have worked for that I wouldn't have cared to attend a picnic ... but I don't even work for this company and I still took my family (minus poor Eric) to the picnic.

I went for a few reasons. One being that I told Aaron last night about the picnic and his memory is really good ... he continually reminded me that we were supposed to go.

The other reason was that I knew that even though Eric wasn't there, we would still be welcomed. We were instantly greeted by amazing employees and their spouses and families. We instantly found friends to sit with and others came to join us as the event went on. At one point I found myself alone and one of Eric's friends came to sit by me and ask after my children and myself.  So many people were genuinely concerned that Eric wasn't there (don't be alarmed ... he wasn't on his death bed ... just sick) and sent well wishes. At one point, Aaron had a small melt down and so many people picked him up, threw him in the air, sent smiles his way, and cheered him! And then as we made our trek to the car many hands helped carry children and bags - even buckling the kiddos in the car for me!

We are so blessed to be a part of such an amazing company! Thank you to all those wonderful people!

A Few Cute Ones!

Aaron wanted to wear both pairs of underwear ... he then (thanks to his new favorite movie, Tangled) paraded around saying, "I got a dream!" and "Great ... now I bad guy."
... because sleeping with one book isn't enough!
 Counting and colors with Marshmallows!
Who me? I didn't do it!
Prepping for our Utah trip, we made a paper chain!
Aaron had fun making it; he then promptly destroyed it. Sad that it was broken, he had me fix it and then went to play.
Here are a few cute videos. The first is a game Aaron and I play. I pick a room and he then tries to find me. We call it Mama! Polo! :)
Next is of Audrey smiling and just being cute!

Then we have Aaron pretending to sleep and being his sweet, adorable self!

We also have Aaron singing Popcorn Popping and "fixing" Sally - having Mater tow her
(this is something my brother, Thomas, would do for him while he was here that Aaron learned to do himself)

Here is a picture of him "fixing"
And ... lastly, we have Aaron singing Call Me Maybe

Puddle Jumping

Few things will get me out of bed when I'm not feeling well ... Lucky for Aaron, one of those things is
PUDDLE JUMPING!!!!!

I couldn't help myself, I even went out for a few jumps. He was just having so much fun, I needed to join!

Sick Days

At the Hornibrook Family Reunion, some sort of flu bug went around a few of the family members...
Well, on Tuesday, after the reunion, Aaron and I fell.
Luckily, Eric and Audrey have been fine. Also lucky - we have a projector in our bedroom and Aaron loves movies! While he was still perky even though sick, he still enjoyed spending time in bed with me watching some of his favorite Netflix shows and movies!
Aaron appears to be all better and I plan to try introducing "real" food into my system tonight...

Family Reunion Days 3 & 4

I have combined these 2 days because to me they almost seem like 1 day!
We went to church with Mark, Ane, Rachel, and Tighe and then went to spend the day with Mark and Ane. Tyler and Kelsey's family joined us at the house where we had one of Eric's favorite meals in celebration for his birthday.

Then began one of the best nights I have ever had. The kids were playing so amazingly well that us adults decided to have some fun. Eric went up and spent the evening with Jon who wasn't feeling well while the rest of us played spoons (Ane even joined in while Mark took photos) and then dead man on the trampoline (someone is blindfolded and has to tag others on the trampoline and guess who they tagged whilst being bombarded by blankets, pillows, and general rough housing) ... I had so much fun and feel so much closer to my in-laws. We then laid on the trampoline and talked. Several adults attempted to sleep outside (with our kiddos' needs, we didn't try) but none ended up staying :) We spent the night but weren't planning to so I borrowed clothes from Rachel and Eric borrowed clothes from his dad and from Tighe.

In the morning, we had waffles and then went out to lunch at Fudrucker's to celebrate Ane and Eric's birthday!

I would like to start the round of photos with a montage of all the places Aaron fell asleep...

I had to throw in one of Audrey sleeping too :)
Chocolate Cake from Cheesecake Factory :)
Spoons :) Notice who has the first spoon :)
Do you see the bright green a midst the blankets? That's me ... I have discovered several bruises since playing, but every one was worth it!

Like I said, no one spent the night outside but all the blankets were left outside so it looked like they did... We held Thomas and Aaron back as long as we could, but eventually they snuck outside and jumped and pounced. When nothing moved we finally realized no one was out there.
Kelsey got Audrey and Annie matching outfits so we got some adorable photos!
I love that they will be the same grade in school. I hope they are great friends! Audrey is lucky to have a cousin so close to her age!
Fun at Fudruckers! For her birthday, Ane decided to get gifts for all the grandkids :) This was, of course, a big hit!

I am so blessed to be a part of this family and to live so close to so many people who love me and look out for me and my little family. I only hope that I can be as amazing as they are!
