Aaron's Water Bottle

Oh ... my ... goodness ...

This was so much fun and so adorable!!! What a HAM! Aaron already has so much personality ... he loves to laugh and giggle and he loves to make other people smile. He already knows how to tease - leaning in close for a kiss then pulling back, giggling... or running away from you giggling... I absolutely love it.

I am so grateful that I have a child that gets messy, makes my home look like Hurricane Sandy took a detour, but is happy and cheerful and loves to cuddle!

Mommy is Better than the Jungle Gym!

Seriously ... clearly I am much more fun to climb and move with! At least, Aaron seems to really enjoy it!

We were making pizza (btw, we make REALLY GOOD pizza ... just sayin') and Aaron wanted attention. He has learned that whining and screaming get him nowhere (we simply ignore him) so he decided to try a new tactic, lol!

A little background on this one... I was stretching before rehearsal and Aaron ran under me and stood up, forcing me to arch my back more. I thought it was pretty funny so I reenacted it for Eric but this time Aaron decided to simply run under and around a few times... also pretty funny :)

The Election

Aaron was watching the election just as intently as every other American...

Again at the Park

Aaron just loves the park so much ... I know I post a bunch of pictures and videos of him playing there, but I can't help it! He's just so happy!!!

He loves driving and being the captain of his ship!

Climb up, slide down - repeat x10!

He also loves the basketball court... Whenever he sees a hoop he starts jumping and saying "Shoot! Shoot!"

We didn't have a ball today (and Mama's a little short to help Aaron shoot) so he grabbed a stick instead.

And then we found a dandelion...

 Aaron bent down and picked a dandelion and watched me blow the seeds...

Then he got another one and tried to blow the seeds, but he put it too close to his mouth. Ew!

When it was time to go, Aaron wasn't ready... He ran from one park attraction to the next trying to delay going home.

Lucky for me, there was a huge pile of leaves on the way home to distract him

This Kid Loves His Daddy

I wanted to take a moment to document this:

I was on the phone today and Aaron demanded a turn ... when he realized I wasn't talking to Eric, he practically threw the phone back at me and chanted, "Daddy! Daddy!"

Then he ran to the front door and tried to open it, again chanting, "Daddy! Daddy!"

And finally raced back to me and took the phone once more screaming, "Daddy! Daddy!"

So I jumped on the computer and asked Eric to call when it was convenient, thinking this would pacify Aaron ... well, Aaron assumed that Eric was on his way home (we talk to Eric on his way home from work every day and we meet him out at his car when he gets home), so he scrambled to get his shoes on and then started saying, "Go! Go! Outside! Daddy, Outside!!!" and when I told him Daddy wasn't outside, he looked like a lost puppy... he pouted and looked so sad...

This kiddo sure loves his Daddy!

Some Random Fun

I was going through the videos on Eric's phone and came across these two fun ones:

Yesterday, Eric and I were tired and laid down on the couch. 

Aaron came running up saying "diaper! diaper!"

Sleepily, I told him to go find a diaper and I'd be right there... sadly, I fell asleep.

Poor Aaron went right to the changing table, laid himself down, and I found him there 40 minutes later

After spraying my hair black for Halloween, the floor in the kitchen was turning our feet black, so Aaron helped me wipe it all up.

Aaron has always been against blowing kisses... he prefers to actually kiss you, but last night in the car, he wouldn't stop blowing them! Sorry the video is dark.

Aaron & Thomas

Yesterday, we had Thomas over for a play date - all afternoon!!!

This one is my favorite...

Aaron had fun showing Thomas around the apartment.

I love the part when Aaron says, "Let's GO!" and they both start drumming again.

By the end, neither of then had napped and both were exhausted...  and a little cranky, but they still had fun

Kelsey and Eric both texted me while I was at rehearsal ... Thomas fell asleep in the car after one bite of dinner ... and Aaron fell asleep mid bite!

We will definitely have to do this again!
